MGO!!!

Not to be confused with omg, but the metal gear online beta is (was) launching today (sometime this week I hope). Is anyone else playing this?

So I played my first game of MGO and it was nuts! It feels like Call of Duty mixed with Syphon Filter but it's definately Metal Gear.

It's really easy to just start and use the auto lock or FPV to get alot of kills; then you realize you can use grenades and cover; then you realize you can use melee to attack and to grab and use enemies as cover; then some dude shoots you in the head while you're using his buddy as cover. There's a serious curve that's helped slightly by previously playing Metal Gear Solid 3 or by playing Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, mostly the latter. It's about as different as starting multiplayer in Counter Strike or maybe a better analogy would be starting the multiplayer for Splinter Cell where you can see how things COULD go but can't get them to work until you've played the game for like 10 hours.

Get a registration key and play it!
